LSU Health Shreveport medical and allied health students are again encouraged to participate in the Memmys, a music video contest sponsored by the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.  The nationwide contest seeks student-produced videos that use music with original song lyrics to illustrate the challenges and rewards of life as a student in the health professions. Winning videos can earn money for their campus libraries.

You must follow these local rules to have your video considered:

* There is a limit of one submission per health professions school.

* Representatives from LSU Health Shreveport's School of Allied Health Professions and School of Medicine will select the videos to represent our institution.

* Videos must be submitted on this form by Monday, March 31 at midnight.

* LSU Health Shreveport students must submit their YouTube entries using this form. Entries not submitted using the form on this page will not be considered.

*Do not submit videos directly to the University of South Carolina.

*Use of LSU Health Shreveport's name or logo in the video must adhere to campus style guidelines.

*Video content should be consistent with student rights and responsibilities for professionalism as outlined in the Goals and Objectives of the School of Medicine and/or Chancellor's Memorandum 21 on Student Responsibilities and Rights.

*LSU Health Shreveport representatives must approve videos for submission to the University of South Carolina for this contest. Decisions made about video submissions by the administration, library staff, and/or campus public relations representatives, are final.
Additional information, including contest rules and video examples, are available on the Memmys website at http://memmys.med.sc.edu/.
