Libraries Transform is the theme for National Library Week, April 10-16, 2016. Pick up a form at the Circulation desk and jot down why your library is important or how it has transformed the way that you do your work. Then display it on the cork board that will be available.
On Wednesday, April 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., join the trend of coloring for stress relief! Valorie Lurry, School of Allied Health Professions Student Life Director and Board member of the Gingerbread House, has designed a coloring page for the occasion. The pages that you color (crayons supplied) will be presented to children at the center. Get transformed at the Library and brighten the Gingerbread House, Bossier/Caddo Children’s Advocacy Center, at the same time. Why? In addition to being the host month for National Library Week, April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. More information is available on the Library Health Observances LibGuide.
