Library Grand Rounds to Feature NEJM Speaker

Pamela Miller will present “The Evolving Landscape of Data Research Management” as the next Department of Medical Library Science Grand Rounds, on Tuesday, April 17.  This session will be held at noon in the Auditorium (Room 1-400, across from the Library entrance).  Ms. Miller serves as the Assistant to the Editor for Special Projects at the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM).   She will offer us the publisher perspective on the importance of experimental reproducibility and data sharing. 


Award-Winning Library Staff

Congratulations to Duchein Stinson, Library student worker, who was part of the winning team at the recent Louisiana Society for Respiratory Care meeting.  His team of Cardiopulmonary Science students won first place in the annual quiz bowl as well as the video competition.  Mr. Stinson is currently a senior in Cardiopulmonary Science in the School of Allied Health Professions, and he will graduate in May.  


Relax with Therapy Dogs

Therapy dogs will visit the Library on Wednesday, April 11, to help you “keep calm and carry on.” Meet them on the first floor of the Library at 3:00.
